I am looking for an easy recipe for Pumpkin Squares with Cream Cheese frosting....I have to make these in a couple of weeks for my food contribution for bingo and they really want homemade things. I've gotten so many yummy recipes from this board that I know SOMEONE must have a recipe...I've looked through my cookbooks and can't find anything that is what I think I remember eating them as......but I could be wrong. So any help I can get would be deeply appreciated!!!! Thanks so much in advance! :)

I haven't tried this recipe myself but they do sound good and easy too.

Frosted Pumpkin Bars

2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
16 oz. can pumpkin
1 cup oil
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine the first 9 ingredients. Mix well. Pour into a jelly roll pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes, or until done. Cool.

Frosting:

8 oz package cream cheese
6 Tbsp. Butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together the cream cheese, margarine, sugar and vanilla. Frost the
cooled cake and cut into bars.

Thanks...that's exactly what I was looking for. This is the kind I think I remember eating when I was younger but my mom can't find a recipe either!!!!!
