Ive spent days looking at prices and watching flight prices go up an up, really want to get booked up before we are priced out.

Best price is from complete orlando- 9th August 2011 2 weeks,£5649 for 3 adults (well 2 adults and a 12year old !) and a child for virgin flights, SSR studio, dining plan and tickets.

Trouble is even this is about £300 more than we paid for this year when we went in a 1 bed, plus its virgin flights who I keep reading bad reviews of.

Should I wait or book do you think ?:confused3

Re Virgin, everyone has different experiences with them. I've flown with them 8 times and not had a bad experience as of yet. But ask me about Thomas Cook or First Choice...I won't go there again. But, other people have great reviews of them. Maybe it all depends on what each person considers to be good service. We were delayed for 24 hours with them last year in Orlando...a plane had broken down in London....and they were fantastic. I have no worries about being delayed with them again.

Have you looked at the price of say, POFQ, and upgrading the dining plan - sometimes it can be cheaper?

Honestly, if you're 'happy' with the price and want to book asap, go for it! :goodvibes

5676 with virgin holidays flying from gatwick for your dates with 14 day tickets a studio and dining plan

Virgin Atlantic are getting new planes next year to replace the Orlando route.

Yes the planes are tired, but they are fine we flew with them last year and although I prefer the standard on BA we are booked to fly them again in December.

I'm in the same position

DH needs to let work know asap when his holiday will be for 2011 if he wants to take 2 weeks off.

we wanted to go in early september ideally but flight prices seem to be crazy!

now I have to decide whether to book flights with someone like first choice/thomson (flew with thomson this year and it was ok) or whether to wait for more flights to be released through the likes of BA/virgin or even the US carriers... or move our visit to october in the hope that flights will be cheaper :headache:

£5600 does seem a high price but it's been a while since I booked a package and so I'm not really up to date with prices...
