First - cutest engagement story EVER. Seriously. How awesome!

I love the dress. It looks gorgeous on you, and works very well for your height (I'm a fellow shorty at 5'2", so I know how some dresses can just...overwhelm)

Those sparkly shoes are so for the win. I would want to wear them all the time. Maybe I need to look into a shoe change for the wedding

And as for the Etsy dresses, the first one really stands out. Simple, but classy.

And I have some more exciting news! I got an email from the photographer that is doing our free engagement photos, and she said a popular wedding videographer wants to come along on our shoot and shoot a love story video of us!

Just a quick update, Derrick and I are doing our engagement photo shoot today! I can't wait! I'm excited/nervous, I think it'll be fun though, once we get past the awkwardness.

Just a short little update.
Like I said last time, we had an engagement photo shoot, we haven't gotten the pictures yet, but here is a sneak peek!

Also at our shoot we had a wedding videographer come out and do a love story video for us! Here is that video.

The video came out so much better than either Derrick and I could ever imagine, we absolutely LOVE it. We absolutely loved working with Nate from Shutter Life Productions, and I'm happy to say we have hired them to film our wedding!

And, on another exciting note, Derrick and I booked our honeymoon! We're taking a three night cruise to the Bahamas on the Disney Dream! I can't wait! :good vibes


Now, I need some flower help! Like I mentioned before, our colors are turquoise and brown, my problem is, I don't know what flowers to choose to go with it! Here are a few ideas I have come up with (thank you Pinterest):

I was originally thinking orange flowers would go best, but now I'm thinking that pink might go well too? Opinions?

Hmm, I can relate with your flower dilemma. We had brown and blue for our colors too, but I ended up going with the splash of orange in our floral because blue and orange are opposites on the color wheel so they pop a lot against each other. Pink would look very pretty too, if you use a very saturated hue!

So, I am currently having the hardest time picking what pair of shoes to wear, so I thought I could use some help! Here are the ones I like, keep in mind they will be dyed teal or blue

I like the second pair best. The line of stones just adds some extra sparkle. I also have a bias toward ankle straps because I am known for 'walking out' of my shoes.
