Designated DVC room?

I think I know the answer but at your home resort you aren’t guaranteed the same room every time you book a room, correct?

I am wanting to book 2 separate 1 bedroom savanna view DVCs through Disney but I would like them to be next to each other or really close to each other. If I do “travel with” on the reservation would they be close to each other? Or do I get whatever savanna views that arent booked by DVC members which means they could be anywhere in the resort?

There is no guarantee that they will be able to fulfill that request. However, if you make that request especially if that is your only request, they will do their absolute best to accommodate the request

DVC members don’t get to book specific villas either, and AFAIK they don’t get priority over cash guests in having their requests met. So your chances of having your two 1BR villas near each other aren’t affected by what DVC members have booked. It’s all a matter of which villas are being vacated the day you’re checking in, whether by DVC members or cash guests.

So put the “traveling with” notation on both reservations and hope for the best. Good luck!
