design advice needed

I've been designing our shirts for our upcoming trip. This one has me stumped. I really like the Chip and Dale graphic, but it feels like the design is missing something. Something around the neckline?? I don't know...

Do any of you have any advice or suggestions on how to tweak or change the design and make it better? As my daughter says, "it looks kind of boring."

The design will be cut on a Silhouette Cameo out of heat transfer vinyl (I'm thinking maybe a bronze glitter for the boys and the acorns and maybe a color for the words?) and iron onto a heather oatmeal color shirt.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I love the design
I think adding the bronze glitter would be great.
Maybe a touch of red glitter on Dales's nose.?
I think the oatmeal shirt color will look great as a background.
I'd love to see a picture of the finished product.

Go with what you are thinking. It is hard to imagine exactly just how much the little touches will add to your shirt. I LOVE your design!
