Deserts within driving distance of DL

Hi! We're doing our first DL trip. We're cruising on the Magic July 2nd and then doing 3 days at DL. My DS 19 wants to visit a desert! Are there any within a reasonable driving distance? Also.how far is San diego from Anaheim? We know nothing about the area and want to make the most of our 8 days after the cruise. Thank.s for your help

Hi,

The Palm Springs, Palm Desert area is about 2 hours away, can be more with traffic, so try to go when it is not rush hour(s). Lots of resorts and hotels in the Palm Springs area.


San Diego is about 1 1/2 - 2 hours away from DL, also depends on traffic...can be more
