Hi we would like to have just a desert at via napoli do they allow this and if so is it worth booking an adr

You may be able to go without an ADR depending on what time of year you are going and if you are flexible with times/days etc. I've never booked ADR for dessert only, but have read on here that people do it. The instance I'm thinking of was an ADR for Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake at Liberty Tree, I was tempted, but my husband talked me out of it. :) Which dessert is calling your name?

Hi thanks for your replies, we traveling end of nov after Thanksgiving dont really want to book an ADR just for a desert but i really want to try their pistachio gelato, there will only be two of us but we are only visiting epcot twice . Can we order and take it away if theres no seats?

No, restaurants at WDW don't do takeaway.

It's a really popular place but you may be able to get in if you go late. Otherwise I'd make an ADR.

Why wouldn't you get pistachio gelato at Disney Spring's Vivioli di Gelato? Pistachio is a pretty common flavor, and it's listed on their online menu. Plus, it's a walk-up and doesn't require park admission.

I could understand making a reservation for the Zeppole de Caterina at Via Napoli....

I've had pistachio gelato at a cart in the Italy pavilion and like the previous poster stated, Vivoli il Gelato at Disney Springs is great.

Ooh did not know about vivoli il gelato where abouts is this in DS plz

Beaches and Cream has a walk up window so it not a completely crazy idea.

I really enjoyed the Tiramisu at Via Napoli. I thought it was really good. It has been a couple of years since I last had it, but I have been wanting to get to Via Napoli again for the pizza & tiramisu dessert.

Make anything to go by bringing a collapsable food container or gallon freezer bag. They will fit easily into a backpack.

If it ends up not working out, you could always play Chocolate Around the World. My husband and I did it last year for Valentine's day. You buy a piece of chocolate in each country's pavilion and make a day of tasting each one as you "travel the world". It's so much fun!
