I know many ppl were wondering in other posts so I thought id spread the magic.
After many emails to desert inn I did find out where the deluxe rooms were located. They have very small amount near the front and most of the rest are in the court yard area.

it pays off to keep pestering for info as long as you are polite.
I also learned they have recently updated the internet thought out the hotel and routers.
