We have only been back from OKW for a week, and I am already depressed. We have to wait until March next year for another vacation, and we aren't going to WDW. I may just have to plan another Mickey trip for sometime next year. We had such a great trip this year and I don't think I can wait forever for another one. I know everyone else feels the same and I needed some cheering up. Thanks in advance for the CHEER.

Chin up, Merilyn! You'll be back at Disney before you know it!

There was a thread somewhere on the DIS Boards about Post-Parkum Depression...LOL...so you and I are not the only sufferers! I tend to play my Disney music more, eat off our Mickey plates, drink out of the refillable mugs we've accumulated, and generally spend time daydreaming about being back at WDW.

The thing that helps me most is remembering that my family and I have all these wonderful Disney memories that we may never have had if we hadn't made our Disney trips. Some things truly are priceless and I'd rather have those memories and be a little depressed at the end of a trip than to never have any Disney memories at all.

I agree, DoeWDW, the memories are priceless. This pass weekend I got the itch (we just got back 5/5/2002) so on Friday, I called MS and the only thing they had available was a Studio for Sat at OKW. I said thanks but I needed a longer trip. So, I popped into my VCR the Travel Channel special on Disney (I taped it so I can get my Disney fix whenever I need it) and I watch the Discovery Channel special yesterday on RollerCoasters (from 5:00 CDT to 10:00 CDT). This will get me through for a couples of weeks (probably days).

How far do you live? Mary at mousesavers.com has just posted a code for discounts at Moderates and Deluxe resorts from 8/25 - 10/02/02. Check this out, you may be able to go down for a long weekend. LOL.

Hi.

We felt the same way after our last trip and low and behold a great code came out and I was able to find cheap airfare, so we're going back the end of July! We found $94 a night at Caribbean Beach (plus one night on rented DVC points at Beach Club Villas - we had to try it out!). Our airfare is $136.50. That was a good airfare, but the best I found for a spur of the moment trip was last year on Southwest on Labor Day weekend - $81.50 per person round trip from Indianapolis to Orlando. That was incredible! The lowest airfare we have ever paid. We couldn't drive for that price.

Watch the airfares and Disney codes - even a three-day weekend at Disney is great!

littlestar,

I must not be looking in the right places for airfare. I have never seen anything that cheap from Indy to Orlando.

Could you keep my email handy and if you find it again that low send me a quick email. Trips for us are just to far apart.

Thanks, only 24 more work days..... till we'll be home.

Hi Dawn.

The way I found out about the $81.50 fare on Southwest was on the Transportation board on this site. Somebody posted it. I went to Southwest's home page and clicked on reservations and then put in my dates and destinations and Southwest had all different fares that came up (luckily the cheap one was still there and I got it). I couldn't believe my eyes that it was there!

For this latest trip I found the $136.50 on ATA's website. We're traveling down on a Tuesday and coming home on a Monday (off peak days maybe?)

We can't wait to try out the Beach Club Villas. We did an add-on there and I'll definitely post here about our stay.
