Deposit Refund?

How long does it take to receive your refund from WDTC if you cancel a reservation? This is only for the initial $200 deposit.

Usually 4-7 days. I cancelled once on a Monday and had my refund back on Friday.

The standard time-frame for a debit return is 2 to 4 business days. Depending on when the return is processed, it can take up to 10 business days after which time you may dispute the return with your bank. Please note that in order to dispute any debit purchase, you must make the request no later than 60 days from the date the statement cycle rule-off date occurred.

FYI - it took me refund over a week to post back to my credit card, I was getting a little anxious

Glad you got your money back. Just remember that saturday & sunday don't count when returning an item. If you take something back on wednesday, the credit should be back by tuesday. That means it took 4 business days to get credited back to your account, which is right; not 6 calendar days as perceived. Working for a bank i get alot of "they're quick to take it out, but slow to put it back" comments when dealing with purchase disputes. Sometimes they're hilarious other times they are .

We cancelled through WDTC this past Saturday afternoon (and rebooked through AAA). Our bank credited the $200 on Wednesday morning.
