Deposit question

I know that the courtesy hold is good for 14 days, then you have to make a $200 deposit.

I was looking at my reservation online and it shows that I made a $200 deposit yesterday when I booked my reservation. But, it also has me making another $200 payment of April 26 (with the final payment in mid-July).

Should I be making this second deposit? I don't recall having to do that for prior reservations. I can do it, but it seems off. I'm wondering if the system somehow isn't reflecting the fact that I already made the deposit (although it has reduced the balanced owed by the amount I deposited).

April 26th is 14 days after you made the reservation, right? I think their system automatically calculates that the $200 deposit is due by (14 days). You can call just to be on the safe side, but I don't think you need to do anything until your final payment is due. :)

That's what I thought, but here is what is confusing me. My total was $776. The reservation shows I made a $200 payment on the 12th. It is showing another $200 payment due on the 26th, and a final payment of $376 in July.

I don't want to lose the reservation (I managed to get a value resort during labor day), but I also don't want to pay $200 early if I don't have to.

Well, Disney got the math right, but you should only have to pay one $200 deposit, I'm sure. You won't lose the reservation, but call them (1-800-828-0228) just to confirm that your balance $576 is due July (XX). :)
