We fly out at 1:45 p.m. and I would like to do a Character Breakfast at Chef Mickey's that morning as our last "hurrah"!

We will be staying at ASMo and I was wondering what is the best way to get to the Contemp?

Just take a taxi or can you take a bus to the TTC and monorail over to the Contemp (my boys would love that)?

How much time do you think I should allocate to get there and back in time to be picked up by our towncar?

I kind of want to do a late breakast so we don't have to worry about lunch. What time should I make the PS for? This will be on Sat. May 8.

Thanks to all you experts!

You can take a resort bus to the Ticket and Transportation Center. You can hop the monorail to the Contemporary Resort from there!

Depending upon the timing and how crowded it is, you can ask if the boys can ride in the front car with the drivern - it will add an extra thrill to your last day!

Chef Mickey's is my twins' favorite place to eat, and I think that ending your trip with breakfast there is a great send off. My suggestion would be to take a taxi from your hotel to the Comtemporary/Chef Mickey's, because it is faster, and you don't want to be late for your PS. Then when you are finished, take the monorail from the Comtemporary to the TTC , and from there take the bus back to your hotel. The bus system can take thirty minutes or more to get from your hotel to the TTC, depending on how long the wait is at the bus stop at your hotel, and then you have to pick up other passengers from the other All Star Resorts as well. .

Just a thought about eating a late breakfast... You don't want to eat too late, because you will need to allow yourself plenty of time to get to the airport (20-30 minutes ), plus check-in, plus going through security,( it took us nearly an hour , as the lines were VERY long yesterday).

You will need to allow about an hour for breakfast itself, assuming your kids will want to wait for all the characters to come around to your table..... So if you have a 1:45 flight , I would eat no later than 10:00---or maybe 9:30 to be on the safe side.

Why not just take the bus back from the MK? Or take the bus to the MK, hop the monorail over to CR, then take a taxi back to AS? Then if you are running short, you won't have to worry about the taxi. Forget about the TTC, use the MK bus.

I'd do an earlier breakfast, say 9 which would give you time to ride the bus and monorail before breakfast. You never know if they are running slow at Chef Mickey's. Give yourself an hour for breakfast. Another 30 min to an hour to get back to AS. Get your bags from Bell Services and get your towncar by 11:30.

Traffic is always bad on I-4 around WDW as the day goes on. With it being the weekend, you probably need as much time as possible to get to the airline. Ask the towncar company what time they will need to pick you up to make your flight. I bet they say at least 2 hours.
