Departure Day Cape May Cafe Breakfast

Our departure flight was pushed back by a few hours, so we have some time to eat a TS breakfast . I was able to make an ADR for Cape May Cafe and thought my DS3 would love one more opportunity to meet with characters before we head home. I've been seeing some very mixed reviews on this character breakfast and would love some of your opinions. Would you keep the ADR or book somewhere else? Any departure day traditions? Favorite breakfast spots? We're staying at AoA, so I'd rather not have to trek to MK resorts if I can avoid it so we're not rushing to pack up, check out and get to breakfast in time to get back to AoA for DME. Thanks!

We have done the Cape May breakfast and thought it was great. The food was good and the characters spend a lot of time at each table. We actually have a ressie for our departure day too at Cape May.

This is our departure day breakfast too. We have also enjoyed it but haven't been here for years.

Thanks! I think I'll hold onto the ADR. Hopefully, we'll be able to go back again in the next year or two and, who knows, maybe this will be our tradition, too!

We just did it as our departure day breakfast a week ago. The food was good. The character interaction was just okay. Minnie actually faked signing our autograph book. The rest seemed pretty rushed despite not having handlers. I would keep it, though. My son is nearly 3 and loved having one last breakfast with his "friends".

I think Cape May is a great departure day breakfast. We love Cape May as it's our favorite breakfast on property and is a must do for us every trip. Have a great time.

I think Cape May is a great departure day breakfast. We love Cape May as it's our favorite breakfast on property and is a must do for us every trip. Have a great time.

I agree, we love this breakfast too and is a must do for us as well. In fact, Cape May Cafe is our departure day breakfast too. The only other one that we like to go to on departure day is 1900 Park Fare, but the OP has already stated that they didn't want to trek over to the MK resorts.
