Can anyone tell me what the experience of having Wisdom Teeth pulled will be like. I ask you guys because lots of people have them out during their mid teen years. Adults can't really answer because it's been years since they had theirs out. How bad is it, if at all?

I don't think its that bad. Most of my friends have had it done. I've not. But they were just sore for a few days and then tehy were fine again.

good luck. =)

havent got mine out yet but this girl was talking about it in school and she said her sister got hers out and she cried for days. and i've heard other stories like that also. not here to scare you but thats just wat i heard :teeth:

oh and good luck with it!!

I have not had my wisdom teeth pulled, but I have had two teeth pulled. I didn't feel it, literally. I had like a panic attack/ spazz moment when they told me I had to get teeth pulled, so they drugged me up so good......I passed out in the parking lot on the way out the door...

I havent had mine pulled. Most people said its fine. So I am hoping they are right

I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled last feb.
Basically it sucked really bad for about a week. There isn't really anything good about it, except you don't have your wisdom teeth messing up yo mouf anymore.
But its only bad for like a week. My mouth was still sore for about 2 weeks after that first week, though.
I remember that it hurt worst in the mornings. Yeah. :)

Gosh.

My wisdom teeth are starting to grow in. My dentist freaked. She's like, "You're only 14!"

So yeah. I expect to get them pulled.

So yeah.

I subscribed to this thread.

So I can read about all the pain I'll have to endure.

It's not very painful according to my little brother. He had some teeth pulled out, molars and an inciser or whatever, and he was sore for a day or two and bled some for the first hour. Not too much. But the holes in your gum are supposed to be annoying.

If the wisdom teeth need to come out and you don't have them taken out, they could warp your jaw or crack other teeth.

I had all of mine out, two on one side first, the two on the other side later.

I was very apprehensive because before at least one person said "it hurt like a *******".

Surprisngly enough I experienced no pain during it or afterwards and did not need to take the paini pills I bought just in case. But I am told that each person's experienc can vary.

Someone said that if the blood does not clot fast enough and and you swallow too much blood, you could get an upset stomach. Someone I know did. I don't know why. Or is it just squeamishness about the blood running down your throat?

Dunno. Haven't gotten my wisdom teeth yet. Dreading the day that I do, though. I've heard it's gonna hurt like heck.
