Ok, I have had a huge amount of work done in my lifetime on teeth. Pain and teeth are nothing new to me. I had my teeth whitened by the dentist using Rembrandt light technology a couple years ago. It was 1 hour treatment and I remember that later that day, one tooth nerve felt like it was exposed! It was hours after the treatment. The dentist said it can happen when you have a tiny crack in your tooth and that it shouldn't last long. The next day it was gone :).

Now today I used Crest Whitestrips Premium on me and DD. She is fine... but I got that same pain again after just 1 stupid strip, makes sense to me it would happen again, but man this stinks! But I am getting nervous it has been 10 hrs and it still hurts :( Gosh please be gone in the am. I am suppose to do two of these a day, I can't with this kinda pain. It is like irratating as heck!!! Not even advil works on it either :(

Anyone else use Crest Strips? Any sensitivity? I do not blame these at all, I am more curious is all. I also want to see how DD is gonna make out. Her braces are off :cool1: but she need some whitening for sure. Her overall color is very dark and always was.

I have used the colgate whitening paste from the dentist and it works without the sensitivity.

I have used crest strips and if they remain on too long, my teeth get sensitive...

Good luck!

I have a little tooth sensitivity. You can wear the Crest Strips once a day, instead of twice, and that helps. It just means you wear them for two weeks instead of one.

I used the Crest Whitestrips and had sensitivity for a couple of weeks after. The worst for me was cereal with cold milk - which I eat every day.

I have been using whitening gel from the dentist and they told me to be prepared for sensitivety. I have had some but it wasn't too terribly bad. The dentist just told me to use toothpaste for sensitive teeth. They felt better after about 2 days.

I used the strips, but I've found that I get similar results w/ the crest daytime whitening toothpaste and the crest nighttime whitening toothpaste - and they're not as much of a pain to use. Maybe your daughter could try those.

Aside from the sensitivity, Crest strips do indeed make your teeth whiter. I used them after I got my braces off. I used Sensodyne, but now I use Aquafresh for Sensitive Teeth - it works very well and costs less!

:) Good luck!

I'm using the Crest Whitestrips now and I had a little sensitivity the first time I used it. Now I don;t have any. I'm hoping to get really white teeth without going to the dentist for treatment.

Well my update is the sensitivity was there for over 10 hours, and that was only 1 strip, so I might try it at bed time and see if that helps... it just is so annoying! It wasn't that is was sensitive to drinks or anything, it was One constant nerve pain. Bummer for me.

DD's teeth are coming along great!
