Just noticed that the Boardwalk Inn is over 50% more (2 bedroom regular $1245 vs. $725) than the Boardwalk villas. :scared1:

I can think of one perk: daily maid service. What else? There must be more to it.

Just an FYI, if you book at the BWV's on cash through CRO you will get daily maid service. It's if you book on points through DVC (either your own or rented from a DVC member) that you will only receive limited housekeeping.

My guess as to why it's more expensive at BWI for a 2bdrm is that a 2bdrm at BWI is a Suite...and I think may have access to conceirge? Not sure...but just the fact that it's a Suite not a regular catagory room at the regular hotel portion probably ups the price :rolleyes2

If either one will do (a 2bdrm suite at BWI or a 2bdrm villa at BWV's) , the least expensive way to go would be to rent points from a DVC member and book a 2bdrm villa at BWV's though rather then the suite at the BWI. It can cost DRAMATICALLY LESS to rent the points for the same stay that you'd likely pay more than double for to book via CRO. You also will get a full kitchen and in room laundry at the BWV's ... the 2bdrm suite will only give you the extra space minus these ammenities.

HTH's

goofy4 - the rooms in the BWI are much, much fanicer than the DVC side.

the only thing that is fancy on the DVC side - is the 3-bedroom Grande Villa.

there is a site with pictures of the suites.

but I don't think the Dis allows this website to be posted.

I just recently changed my ressie from 2 connecting LVC rooms at BC to a 2 bedroom villa at BCV based on the huge different in price. Granted, I was booked concierge but I couldn't justify the 2K difference in price (both booked with AP rate). I could have gotten it much cheaper using points but the availability of the 2 br villas for my dates didn't work out when I tried with points. When I saw it available via CRO, I snatched it. I was really looking forward to concierge but I think the extra room, kitchen and washer/dryer will more than make up for it. I'm planning to have wegoshop deliver groceries and I won't feel bad about ordering room service often if we need it since I'm saving so much money.
