I used to have RAD, but no longer. Traded in RAD for DVC and have been fine ever since.

My problem is that we started on a Deluxe (WL). Never have been to a moderate other than to look around. Im afraid to spend a week there and be disappointed. I fell in love with the Pool view of AKL which was a step down from the Savannah view so im on a road to recovery!

I am gald that you liked the pool view at the AKL. We have that booked for our trip coming up after staying savannah view the last time. I was worried that I would be disappointed. I feel better now. Maybe I too can recover......Nah!!!!

I am the Op and DH and I have finally decided to try the Poly. We have never stayed there and that was the main reason or our choice. While I LOVE the YC/WL/AKL, it's time to try something different. This will be our first time on the monorail. We considered concierge, but I know once we do that there will be no turning back. We will try to get a gv room (start slow) with a FL resident discount. This thread has been a hoot!

I truly know where you are coming from. We stayed at CBR in February, the first time in a moderate, and I was miserable when it was raining HARD one afternoon, cause I felt like I was stuck in my room. Then we stayed at POR in May, both resorts were lovely, but I missed my huge lobby steps from my room, I missed my balcony or patio that I truly enjoy having a cup of coffee on in the morning and evening, I missed the pool being steps away, I missed the hot tub. I can't take it anymore, I told my DH, no more mods for us. Is that terrible or what?
