Deluxe room or Club level?

I used the entertainment rate for ressies at HRH in early March ($149/Deluxe). A week later I received a mailing from Loews indicating the special introductory rate is also $149. I then called Universal (why did I bother) to have my ressie converted to the Loews first rate (same amount) so that I would be eligible for the free grade, Loews first amenity, and frequent flyer miles. It will come to no surprise to you and others on the board to learn that the representative could not have been more confused or less helpful (bless her heart).

I then called Loews directly about the matter. They gave me the miles, made a record of my amenity request on my ressie, and advised me that if a room was available, an upgrade would be granted. I was also told that the upgrade from Deluxe would be Club level, but the room is actually smaller. So I'll have to decide which is better. Should I request the upgrade? I will be traving with my family of four DH and 2 sons (8 and 2). I have also requested a crib.

I was at the PBH in Sept. We were upgraded to a Deluxe Pool View room using Loew First and the room was perfect. There was plenty of space for all. Are there deluxe rooms on the club level?

Please check your reservation immediately!! The $149 Loews First introductory rate is for a Garden View Room!!!!!

The Entertainment Rate for a Deluxe room is also $149, making the Entertainment Rate a much better deal!!!

Thanks for the warning. I checked the reservation and they still have a deluxe room reserved for me with the entertainment rate. I'm so glad you mentioned this to me. Thanks again!
