Among the deluxe resorts - which do you feel has the best price and or best value for the rate?

Well, I'm sure you'll get lots of opinions on this, but we are big fans of the Yacht Club (and Beach Club). We love the Epcot Resorts area and the close proximity to Epcot, MGM, and the Boardwalk. There are great restaurants, nightlife and two parks all a short distance away. :D

A vote for Wilderness Lodge. I like AKL too, but there is just something about WL. That's why I'm so happy that we now have something similar here in Anaheim (Grand Californian), although in truth, I do like WL more than GC.

Oh well that's my vote. It's not a monorail resort, but they do have Magic Kingdom Boat Launches, and I like the food in Whispering Canyon (When they say flaming chicken, they mean it;)), as well as the close proximity to Hoop De Doo. :)

All my best

From what I've researched, Animal Kingdom Lodge is the deluxe resort with the cheapest price, but it also depends on what you are looking for in a resort and what best value means to you. We stayed at Wilderness Lodge a couple of years ago and it was beautiful and great for us...our friends didn't like it...they want more of a tropical/Caribbean feel. We are planning on AKL for our Dec. trip...because we love the AK, the atmosphere of the resort appeals to us( it is designed by the smae people that did WL), and because it is the cheapest priced deluxe. You won't be dissappointed in any of them...even the moderates and values are wonderful.

AKL and WL are the cheapest deluxe resorts, and they are both very nice. :D
