I was going to pre order breakfast at BOG and looking at the menu there is a Beast souvenir cup with fountain drink listed. I was thinking you can get specialty drinks on deluxe plan, but didn't know if this would be one you can get.
Also, if they offer these type of souvenir drinks for kids at other places are they included or not?
Thanks

This is the wording under the deluxe dining so I cant tell if it means souvenir cups.
"Guests have several new beverage options available including non-alcoholic specialty beverages and, for Guests 21 and older, beer, wine and cocktails."

No, the souvenir cups are not included. If there is a specialty drink that comes IN the cup, you can get the drink without the cup, but no cup is included anywhere with any plan at this time.

Souvenir cups and other souvenir containers are not included in any of the dining plans. Near the end of the details for each dining plan is this section:

What's Not Included

  • Items that are more than a single serving (such as a box of doughnuts or a jar of peanut butter)
  • Items (such as popcorn or drinks) that are served in a souvenir container
  • Items sold from recreational rental counters
  • Items considered to be merchandise (such as bottle toppers, glow cubes and bottle straps)
  • Special dining events offered at certain Table-Service locations

All dining plans now include specialty/alcoholic drinks. (NOT just the DxDP)
And I think the website info is a bit outdated since I was on the DDP a few weeks ago and at The Wave I was told I could order any drink under $15. I got the blue glowtini and it came with a glow cube which I have tucked in my "free souvenir drawer".

Not sure about the souvenir cups but at least the glow cube portion is incoorect and outdated.

Just wondering - is this 1 drink per MEAL or 1 drink per DAY?

Also, we are on DxDDP and can the drink credit be used by someone else in the family? So for example could my husband or I use our 17yo’s drink “credit” for an alcoholic bev or does she have to use it on a smoothie or something?

You get a drink with each meal. Drinks are not credits on their own. They are part of the meal credit itself.
You will only be able to order as many alcoholic drinks as there are people 21+ at least at TS restaurants.
AKA no you cannot say "we want our 17 year old DD's drink to be alcoholic and we will drink it and she will just have water".
If you had 3 people 21+ and 1 did not actually want alcohol but ordered it so that another 21+ could have a second drink that would be a different story.
At a QS location it may fly easier especially if you mobile order. They don't know how old the person is that is eating the food or drinking the drink.

Souvenir cups are considered merchandise and even if the cost is less than a specialty beverage, they will not be included in DDP purchases. WIth regards to the alcohol credit on meals, it really depends on teh server if you can "transfer" the beverage from one to another. We never asked to use my DGD credit for one of the adults., but I can tell you that most servers wanted the beverage order to come from the person person assigned to the entitlement. WHat happened to the beverage after the order was placed they did not care, but in general they were careful how the orders were taken. My DH or one of my nieces would order the glass of wine I liked and then give it to me. I honestly cannot see how an underage person could do this at TS restaurants.

The glow cube portion just means you can't use a credit on a glow cube/bottle topper/etc by itself, which is still true.
