Congratulations to her! Having three grown kids, I very well know the behind-the-scenes efforts that go into accomplishments like that. It takes a hard-working kid and a lot of support from the family in time and money. It's all worth it, though, because these are fun and exciting times that you will always treasure.

Oh I have found that adults-only/ladies only trips are the way to go!!! I have had some of the best times at Disney with some of my greatest friends!!!

Yes I was ready to get myself to Disney....I had deluxe accomodations to check out LOL!!!!

The car was amazing and once again the need to have a rental car was once again confirmed and something I will not be going to Disney without anytime soon LOL!!!

Well I would have slept in more but I had an EMH DHS rope drop I was hoping to make so that meant I had to sacrifice a bit of my sleep!! Although I was very ready to go so it was no problem for me to get up and get on the road LOL!!

OHHHHHHHHHHHHH what a great update (start!!) I especially like your final lines about the Deluxe and about TSM, because you KNOW we were both there for that flight through DHS to the FP rope lines!!!

Funny too about rushing to beat the busses, dont I know that one!!!!

It is insane getting to the TSM fastpass line and then the look of that line and the standby line...crazy crazy crazy!!! It is interesting the things your notice about the deluxe vs. value resorts!! Now don't get me wrong I am definitely not a deluxe snob I still love me some Pop Century...but yeah I definitely enjoy my stay at SSR!!

I'm with Happydog cracking up at you beating the buses out of the parking lot... and I don't blame you one bit for not being able to sleep in. You were going to Disney!

I think I might have been the first person off campus that day!! NO ONE was standing between me and the highway to Orlando LOL!!!!

Yup there was no more sleeping in!!! It was time to get to Disney and let the real fun begin!!!

I wouldn't be able to sleep if I were going to Disney either.

I know!! I couldn't believe I had woken up before my alarm but I was so glad that I was up, showered, and out the door to make it in time for rope drop LOL!!!!

So funny how you were waiting for the final bell to ring. I know the feeling. You want to get out of there and the last hour of the day feels like 10!

I know I was even anxious for the afternoon announcements to be over with, who wants to hear those when you could be on the road to Disney!!!! It is a 7 hour drive, but feels like 8 going to Orlando because of the time change, however its only like 6 on the way home because I gain an hour...and trust me I usually make the most of that hour LOL!!!!

OK...so what was I doing??? hmmmm.... I was off Friday, so I did some last minute packing...and shopping...resulting in more packing I made Christine's MNSSHP costume. Did a little cleaning...since I knew it was the last a dust cloth would be seen til I got home I took my little Allison to Gymnastics Practice from 5-8....for those of you I don't know as well... this is my littlest munchkin....

She spends alot of time at the gym

Off and on thru the evening I chatted with Jen... I was a little jealous that she was on her way...and I still had to work 2 more days!!

The Car was super nice... very comfy. I'm feeling pretty spoiled now not using the busses!! Although my family trip next month will be bus-bound...My upcoming February trip has a rental car added into the budget!(BTW... the Feb trip was recently added... it's just Allison and I, she's going to be competing in a gym competition in Orlando!! yay!!

Awww trust me I was very anxious for you to get there, I might have even gotten confused at one point at what time you would be arriving LOL!!

Brian's soccer team was accepted into a December tournament in Cocoa Beach, FL, but the team decided NOT to go. I am actually relieved because I HATE to drive long distances (actually I hate the 30 min drive to work ) and flights were sooooooo expensive - like $300 RT. You know I can't possibly pay that. I am the queen of SWA discounts!

Now - if they had gotten into the Disney tournament, well, ......I'd be doing garage sales and cutting coupons for the three months to get there!

I love having two reporters too...I love getting different perspectives!!!! I really enjoyed the rooms and the space that comes with DVC, I'm definitely sold just now have to decide when to buy LOL!!!!

OH yes I definitely think having your own car on property is the way go, of course that is just my opinion but when I'm only 15minutes away and when I'm done for the night no waiting for the bus or need a break midday it really is nice to have my car waiting for me somewhere in the parking lot!

I'm impressed you woke up that early but even more impressed you could get to sleep. I'm usually too excited to sleep the night before (or during travel).

I bet Paula was very upset hearing that her daughter just HAD to compete in Orlando in February. I just found out my kids (they dance) are competing in Orlando in July. I know I'm super upset about it. (NOT!)

Getting to sleep was the easy part!! I was so tired after driving 5.5 hours!! I was shocked I was up before my alarm too but I wasn't too disappointed it just meant I was getting to Disney soon!!!!!

Jill would love to go to a scrapbooking event. I hope she can do this sometime in the future. She would be in heaven!

I am lucky that on our departure day, Friday, our students are out. We have in-service, so I won't have to reveal my 'anxious' side to my students. Although, I am sure they would love it, too.

I love our scrapbooking crops, we have one a month on a Friday and its great to have some girl time and to work uninterrupted on my scrapbooking! I like it even more now that I have entered the world of Digital Scrapbooking!!!

Nice start. Isn't that Broadway channel great? I was flying a few months back and they had it on the plane. It made that plane ride so much better for me (especially since I'm not too fond of flying ). Looking forward to hearing about your arrival at Disney.

The Broadway channel is amazing!!!! I love it!!! I could sing along with all those songs for hours and hours, oh wait I did!!! OOOH you must flew on AirTran...I'm hoping to fly with them in January and I think the Broadway Channel is enough to keep me sane on the flight!!!!

An update from BOTH members of the dynamic duo! Yes!!!!!! I can see Allison's picture and she is cuter than ever! Fortunately, the only pictures I'm missing from Jen are the Super 8 and her rental car (which sounds very nice, by the way). Enjoying the TR very much and can't wait until you guys arrive!!!!!!!

Sounds like a great start to an amazing trip Jenny! I too LOVE getting up super early to start a road trip! We do it EVERY summer when we drive west to DH's sisters' farm!

I'll answer this one... cause Jen and I use the same progam!!

We both use Storybook Creator Plus from Creative Memories. it is very easy to use and the best thing is there are CM consultants all over the country. They have workshops and will even come to your house to help you get started (for no/little charge) ! You can go to the CM website and search for a consultant in your area (PS I used to be a consultant myself... but am not anymore due to time constraints, so don't mistake this is self promotion ... but I still think they have the very best products available!!)
