I'm impressed you woke up that early but even more impressed you could get to sleep. I'm usually too excited to sleep the night before (or during travel).

I bet Paula was very upset hearing that her daughter just HAD to compete in Orlando in February. I just found out my kids (they dance) are competing in Orlando in July. I know I'm super upset about it. (NOT!)

Happy Monday to you all!!! I hope you had a great weekend filled with lots of fun. My weekend started out very nicely. As many of you know Paula and I both love to scrapbook well this weekend was Croptoberfest here in my neck of the woods, so I decided to attend Friday night and finally venture into the world of digital scrapbooking. I have to tell you I LOVE IT!!! It was great not to have to make 3 trips to my car to lug all my stuff into the crop and then have to get it all organized!! Digital scrapbooking is definitely for me!! As soon as I figure out how to save the pages and load them up to photobucket I promise to show you some of my new layouts! I have to say my Great Movie Ride one impresses me the most!!!! It is amazing what technology can do these days!!!!



However I was very very anxious to get out of the door the minute the bell rang and my students knew it. I’m not one to let my students line up at the door right before the bell rings. They have to stay seated until that final bell rings, however I made an exception that day! I told my students this was a one time thing, but I was going to let them put the chairs up on tables and stand behind the chairs.

Jill would love to go to a scrapbooking event. I hope she can do this sometime in the future. She would be in heaven!

I am lucky that on our departure day, Friday, our students are out. We have in-service, so I won't have to reveal my 'anxious' side to my students. Although, I am sure they would love it, too.

Nice start. Isn't that Broadway channel great? I was flying a few months back and they had it on the plane. It made that plane ride so much better for me (especially since I'm not too fond of flying ). Looking forward to hearing about your arrival at Disney.

An update from BOTH members of the dynamic duo! Yes!!!!!! I can see Allison's picture and she is cuter than ever! Fortunately, the only pictures I'm missing from Jen are the Super 8 and her rental car (which sounds very nice, by the way). Enjoying the TR very much and can't wait until you guys arrive!!!!!!!

YAY Finally an update!

Sounds like a great start to an amazing trip Jenny! I too LOVE getting up super early to start a road trip! We do it EVERY summer when we drive west to DH's sisters' farm!

LOVE the car! TOO SWEET It's so silvery shiny and pretty!

Running of the Bulls, huh? We are going to be doing DHS AM EMH on our upcoming trip! I look forward with eager anticipation to hearing EVERY detail of your morning at DHS!!!!

I love reading about adult only trips. I'll probably not have one until my kids are grown. I can't talk the DH into it...but he has agreed to go with our kids in 2011(after deplyment) so that's something!

Oh yes,....I was SOOOOO upset both my girls dance... but their studio doesn't compete, so I won't have that excuse to use...but I'm glad you do!!

On average she spends about 14 hours a week there....more in the summer. Since it is so demanding...I don't feel too bad about pulling her out once ina while

Sounds like she is serious about her sport! She sure looks like a little Olympian up on the beam.
She's 8? What grade? 2nd is my specialty!
