Another Mini Update!!!!!

Well we have returned from our trip from Michigan and the Church planting conference and both were really good! Phillip and I really enjoyed the conference it was extremely encouraging and uplifting to be near others who are in different stages of the adventure we are about to embark on!!!

Returned home to a newly painted living room and hallway, still no perspective tenants in the home, but they say that is normal since the house is still occupied!! The Pods arrive on Thursday and the real packing up begins! We hope to be out of the house by June 30th and on our way to Austin!!!!

This morning I head to New Orleans!! I will start a series of three tests tomorrow morning starting with Pedagogy, followed by Life Science, and finishing with Science Composition. I have to pass all three of these tests to be able to qualify to teach in Texas...no pressure right LOL!! So please be in prayer with me that I will pass all three of these tests! I will return home from the Big Easy Thursday afternoon and then the packing starts LOL!!!!! Of course while in New Orleans I hope to partake in Toy Story 3 and a lot of Beignets LOL!!!!

Well that's another real life update for you all!! I hope to get back to Disney as soon as we are settled in Austin!!! Thanks for being patient with me!!!!!

Hey Jen!

WOW--SOOOO much has happened since I was on here last! CONGRATS on the teaching job!! That is so exciting! So when do you all move? I know it's super soon, but I can't remember exactly.

That's SUPER exciting about you and LL running/walking a 5k together! Michael and I have a goal to do a 5k, 10k, and eventually half-marathon together--but we have no clue when. How great that you and LL can run/walk on the same day!

Yay--I'm excited for our Austin meet! I need to find the name of that restaurant--it was SO yummy!

And I don't think I've updated you, but Michael has actually applied for a job in Austin too! We have applications ALL over the country right now. Wouldn't it be crazy if we both ended up in Austin?!

Anyway, I'll pray that your house sells and that all of your tests and packing go well!

Talked to my Assistant prinicpal and as soon as all the certification paperwork is taking care of she will be submitting my paperwork for hire!!
