Ah, but the issue for a lot of people is that when they booked these flights, they were Song flights, and had no idea that Delta was absorbing all those Song flights this spring.
I booked my dh and dh on JB in May since it was a good price, $79 at the time, and they had the time I needed...leaving Boston at 7 pm. That way dd didn't have to miss another day of school. But, they changed the flight on us...changed the departure to 4:55, with a connection in JFK, still arriving at MCO around 10:15. Not happy at all, but what can you do? I had always thought that once JB posted their schedules, that was that. I expect Delta to change them since they book so far out. But, we only booked JB three months beforehand.
Can we live without those TVs? Of course we can. I'm another one who is disappointed that I won't have the TVs on my flight to MCO or the flight home from TPA!!!
Unfortunatly it's all in that fine print we get with our confirmation emails from the airlines. Bicker is right...they only promise to get us from point A to point B, on a particular day. They lull us into a false sense of security when they tell us the time we'll depart, or allow us to choose the seats we need. SW does tend to look better and better. At least there aren't multiple changes with them. Sure, I have to get up at the crack of dawn to get the flight I want at the price I need. And then again to get that coveted A line. It's all a big ole game at this point. I would much rather pay a bit more, and know I was getting what I 'thought' I had paid for.....the departure time, the route, the seat.
