I just happened to check status of my flight yesterday and was warning that I may miss my JFK to LHR portion of my trip as the lay over time had reduced to 1 hour. We were due to land 9.25am at Heathrow and unfortunately I have to work that night so missing flight not really an option. Anyway contacted Delta through their Delta Assist on twitter and excellent service. They changed me to the 2.42pm flight form MCO so that I can get the earlier 6.35pm flight to LHR and now arrive 7am which is perfect. I would have booked this option originally but was much more expensive that the £420 I paid.
I just wanted to let people know what a great service Delta Assist is, far easier than calling.
Was a bit worried about the whole indirect thing but very impressed so far.
