This is for anyone who may have booked flights with Delta for October...
I booked mine just last week, and then discovered yesterday that the fares have come down DRASTICALLY, as in, I could have booked both DH and I this week for less than the price I paid for ONE of us last week.
Sick to my stomach, I called Delta this morning to try to straighten things out. Our tickets were nonrefundable, so they wouldn't give us money, but they did give us $108 dollars each in flight credit. I would have rather had the $$, but we can always use the flights to go visit DH's family in Philly.
So, if anyone booked for October prior to this week, you may want to check the fares and see if they've drastically come down. If they have, call Delta to get $$ or credits. Can't hurt to try!
