Delta changed it again...4th time so far, 5 weeks to go.

I checked my flights on the website yesterday and sure enough, the outgoing flight was not listed on the schedule--I typed in the flight # to check, and it was Austin to somewhere (should have been Detroit-Cincinnati).
I called Delta and they confirmed that flight was gone--she immediately rebooked me on a Detroit-Atlanta flight for the same time frame, and my return flights are the same. Still have 5 seats on each flight.
I'm on pins and needles seeing if these flights will hold, or will I have to do this 10 more times!
To their credit, she was very nice about it and I made small talk about how hectic her job must be and she was happy to have someone sympathize with her!
If you call and need help, just stay calm, they are frazzled too.

Im afraid to make reservations, since hearing about all the cancelations and how messed up the airlines have been. But I have to so I hope Im not going to be one of you who say they canceled my flight! Im planning on booking with Delta because we have credit vouchers with them.

The same thing happen to me for our Thanksgiving trip to the inlaws. The flight from Charoltte to Atlanta was cancelled so the booked us on the earlier flight the left at 7:30 am, however they didn't change our connecting flight from Atlanta to JFK, which was at 2:30 pm.

I called up Delta and got a real helpful lady on the phone and explained the situation. I was joked around with her saying I know the Atlanta airport is big but not big enough to spend the whole day there with my 4 year old son. So we are now leaving Charlotte to Cinncinatti and then to JFK leaving two hours earlier then our original plans.

We weren't charge anything extra and when I recieved my Passenger Receipt and Intineray in the mail. The explantation says Non Ref/Change fee / penalty exchanges per 11 Sept incidents.
