Quick question...

Does Delta do the price adjustment thing like AirTran? Is there a charge? If they do it...what's the best way...call?

Thanks,
Disneyraq

Not sure about first class or business class but the tickets we have had in coach were not adjusted when the price changed. I called to ask and it was going to be $150/person to change. Thankfully I got really low airfare with Delta for next Aug. already and doubt that it will go any lower.

Agreeing with francie57 on this - the only way it's worth it to change is if your ticket goes down more than $150. I wish Southwest/Airtran would come to our airport!

Delta used to but that was several years ago. Back then their strategy was to get more people to buy sooner so they have the nonrefundable cash in their coffers sooner. To accomplish that goal they and most airlines back then offered to price match themselves (but not their competitors).

Except they (and most others) changed their strategy. So for now your strategy is to at least wait for a fare sale as opposed to buy quickly at their everyday low price.

Do they ever have sales??? I've been looking at a flight everyday for 3 weeks and it stays pretty much the same...
