Delivery to Resort

Hello all!

I'm wondering if anyone North of the border has had items delivered to their Disney resort that they've purchased from the Disney shopping website. I've had things delivered from Amazon which was hassle free but this time I'd like to buy a few items from the Disney site to have when we arrive.

Any experience out there with deliveries from Disneystore.com?

We have done it a number of times. No problems. Just put the reservation # and arrival date in one of the address lines. There maybe a small fee from the resort to handle the parcel but I think this depends on the resort.

I was hoping it would be as smooth as Amazon. Sometimes delivery addresses can give you a hard time if they're not the same as billing (not to mention international) so I'm glad to hear you've had positive experiences.

Yes but (as far as I've read) and packages sent to the hotels now are charged a $5 fee by Disney.

I had read about that. I figure the $5 is way better than the international shipping charges plus duty to have it sent here before we leave.

Oh it sure is! I don't think it's bad but just wanted to make sure it was known. And it's $5 per package.

I'm ALWAYS the one that gets duty fees! We just bought bridesmaid dresses...from China. 3 have been received so far and out of those 3.... I'm the one who got stuck with $53 in duty! Argh!
