We have stayed there but it was many years ago. it's a good standard hotel, clean rooms, friendly service and an excellent pool - you will be fine there.

They have painted the exterior in some wierd, crazy colours though.

There are two Holiday Inns close together on International Drive. I've stayed at the one at 6515. Ask for a tower room. The hotel is older, but was being repainted when I stayed there. At that time, Virgin maintained a desk in the lobby. I had a King bed room with fridge, microwave, coffee maker. My room was very clean. I was there for a conference and didn't have a chance to use the pool, but it looked fine. Personally, I don't care for all the kitsch of I-Drive, but it's an ok place to stay.

The first time I ever went to Disney we stayed at the Holiday Inn on international drive. We really loved it. It was close to a lot of things if you don't do the parks everyday. The room was comfortable and they offered a free shuttle to the Disney Parks. I don't know if that has changed in the many years since we had stayed. I would stay again in a heartbeat based on that one experience. I really think you will find the location to be fantastic.

Oh one last thing, I really loved the pool it had a waterfall off of the rocks I thought it was landscaped nicely.

We stayed at the one with a TGI Fridays attached. we were really pleased. They also let us check in early.

I'll be spending one night there (as an anti-climax to my WDW trip). Figured I'd spend a night to wind down and do some shopping w/my daughter around the area. Sorta transition between the Wonderful World of Disney and the realities of real life.

Probably will be a letdown after 3 nights at YC and 2 nights at CR but, hey, for $83 w/tax incl., that's not bad. And lets me stay another night in the Disney area instead of heading home Fri. afternoon.

Hi there we stayed at the holiday inn that was at stop 17 on i drive it was real good, nice location, clean hotel and big rooms. hope you have a good time.
