Daughter: 17 yo Jessica..thinks she should be Cinderella
Jay: someone I am learnign by the end of this trip........never take to a theme park!
woke up early today...Jes&Jay went jogging around the Boardwalk....while I took my shower. after everyone finally got ready...off to the YC concierge lounge to have some breakfast! and there it was in the lounge of the YC...a Krispy Kreme Dounut...fopr which I had before...thou years ago...so I thought I would give it the benifit of the doubt ...and tryed the Honey Dip one...nope! Dunkin Donuts still is so much better to me!!!! the DD honey dip it light and air...where I feel that the KK one was ..fake or processed in some way shape or form...it just was not good to me...so out in the trash it went!!!
well .we now were off to the MGM....and via walkway!! and got to the MGM at 9 sharp!!! our first stop was the TOT..Jay had taking his Dramine......so he did do the TOT, this was his firswt Disney ride......and more or less the last!!
I guess he screamed the whole time on the ride...my daughter shaking her head(nothing scares my daughter....no fear!).....well...they manganed to get thru that...Jes wanted to do RNR....NO jay said.so off to the Great movie ride.......oh...nice hat!! it is getting bigger!!!
Jay did seem to tolerate that ride....and he mentioned that..for what it was worth....(funny how you never really know someone till you go on vacton with them!!)Jay is someone my daughter dated a few times....he is a hard working kid...with a lot of musical talent and a straight a student...not to mention...he is a aviad runner.....BUT...we started to find out how"timid" he really was....expecly when He questioned Peter Pans flight...and Buzz light year was a bit much!!! we did make a joke of it.....I think the TOT being the first ride...thru him in a state of complete painc for the rest of the trip!!!
anyhoo....I needed to see my Golden Girls house so off to the Backlot tour...picking up Millionaire Fastpass along the way for 10:55am......we got great seats ont he tour...because I was in the ECV...so wqe were right with the "announer"...and I was right n the GG house side!!! Yes...I am a big fan...I watch them 6 times a day.....9am....6pm and f11fpm on lifetime!!!
once the tour was done...we shopped alittle..then hungry set in...bad!!!! at thistime it was 11:00.....and it was milliaire or food.food won out...so I gave my passes away!
never did get to see it!! oh..well there will be Sept!
we had a quick light lunch at the backlot express.......at this point we decided to go to Epcot.......Star wars was at the MGM...but it was great for use...because it left evewrything open for us!!!!
But we opted to take the boat...first time in 4 days with the new walkway!!
so what is the first theing to do at Epcot?? Beavertails!!!! I had been waiting since the free coupons last year!!! so the three of use split one......leaving me still with 5 couons!!!from there we checked out the flowershows......Jay is taking this in school...so he was really into it...no G forces there!!!
(I now call him "G" man!)
Jess wanted to do Tstrack..BUT Jay would not.so ...she skipped it
I happened by a open market type place...where they had the cutest topiary s......I bought a Mickey Mouse one!!! it is being shipped to me....so we will see If I kill that to!
stopped by West inovations and did our e mails....and then the MouseGears...at this point..I was not feeling to good....so affter the Coke staion.....I went back to the resort...They stayed in Epcot...and I took my meds and a nap......me...a nap..never have I ever done this!!!
well they had come back and went swimming....and we had a 5:40 at Mamas...with the dinner package for Fantasmic show at 9. so we headed out a 5pm taking the walkway back to MGM...got to Mama's at 5:15......and the YC concierge noted on ressies it was my Birthday......they all came out clapping...singing a song.wtih a crme Burlee...and a candle in it.how embarassing!!!!
after dinner we had some time...so we did the Muppets 3 d....Jay loved that! hummmm...and did some more shoopping...then at 745 headed over to the stateuim......the Regural section(non ressies) was packed fulll! but our section...we were the first there! s we got in the Ursala section...and the last row with the ECV..I have to say I LOVED this area.....great view....and could get right out before everyone!!
now...one thing that got me...is on your card..it says....arrive 30 mins prior to show...well we had a really nice converstion with a couple that come down to Disney all the time....(she was in an ECV also)she was next to me...and in front of use...there was a tiny little spot where on one was sitting...not even room for one really......BUT 905....a family decides with a screaming baby to sit there....again..on the card it says if not there 30 before...stabnding room only!!!! well I was ticked! I was there for 1 hour and 15 early to have this very rude family slide there way into the little space in fron of use....just to put the kid onb her shoulders,...fight in front of me!!!! how rude is that! well.....NOT soi zI called a CM....and that was also unexceptal to them....they stayed there..but complained the whole time..I tole them, next time, arrive WHEN you are surpose to!!! everyone else did!
show was nice.....for me thou a one time thing.....glad we finally saw it . and we left kjust as the fireworks were ending...so to beat the crowd...and took the walkway back!!
So this was May 12th...got thour another day.. with Mack and Myer!! tee hee....
on to Mothers day!!
