I cannot find our deed, and I don't know if we ever actually recieved one ( we purchased resale ). How do we get a new one?

Assuming its a wdw dvc property (not vero, HH or VGC), look at the orange county land records online:

If DVC has you in their system, then it is an annoyance, but likely not critical that you can't find your deed. You don't need to produce it for any reason that I know about. If / when you sell, then a new deed will be created.

It is key to check to see if it has been recorded in the county where you own.

About two years ago I could not find one of my deeds from 93, I called my guide and he was great he sent me a copy.Obviously, we bought from disney.

How long does it normally take to receive your deed. We closed in early April and the deed was recorded on April 21.

We closed march 5 and got it last week. So give it a month. If you went with resale then it may take longer.
