Will it be ok with small children ?

We have a reservation at VWL, the first 3 nights we were supposed to stay in a dedicated 2 bedroom, and then the last 2 days were supposed to be in a lock off 2 bedroom ( we were crossing our fingers that some home we would get a 2 dedicated 2 bedroom for those 2 nights by the time we got down there) , well it seems that the resort went in and switch all the nights into a 2 bedroom lock off , they claim it was to keep us in the same room, ugh now I'm a little worried with the 3 small kids being in a room with a separate entrance from us. any advice ?.

Thank you

Flip the locks and tell them "do not open that door under any circumstances." :confused3

Yep, and use the security lock. How old are your little ones? If they are under 5, they wont be able to reach the security lock, and if they are over 5, they know better.

Stack the luggage in front of that door We use it for Shoe storage and laundry hampers.

How old are your kids? We've done this since mine were 8-7 & 4, when we used to do 2 connecting rooms. Same thing basically.

Also, you might want to check - with a Lock-Off, the 2nd bedroom will likely have a Queen bed + Pull out couch, instead of the 2 Queen beds. Really - we haven't had a problem with this.

Have a great trip!

The kids are ages 6,3, and 2, I know they will be fine, but I think a bit more annoy with the fact the resort did not check with us before switching 3 of our days, but then again we are not sure what the rules are, in the end we ended up with a one bedroom villas and saved a lot of our points:cool1: for our next trip, so all is well.

What do you mean the "resort" switched 3 of your days?
