We are booked in a dedicated 2 bedroom at VWL this October. Does this room category give me any hint as to where we might be located?

Go to www.dvcnews.com and look in the left hand column for DVC Resorts. Simply scroll down and click on VWL and then click on RoomFinder. Simply key in your info....and you'll get the entire list of dedicated 2 bdrms available at VWL. There is also a map with room numbers floating around somewhere......I just can't remember what website it's on and I didn't save it.....if I find it I'll be sure to let you know.

Thank you, wildernessDad......that's the map I was looking for....if you don't mind, I think I will save it so I'll know where it is next time............using the map along with the RoomFinder is a great tool to have.

I know this is an old thread but I didn't want anyone to have to look up these great layout/location websites again.

Let me see if I can make sense of my question :goodvibes

I am miffed as to the order I should request my room location. Here's my situation. I am traveling next month with my parents (70 & 73) and my brother & sister. We have a dedicated 2 BR. Here's what I *want* but I'm not sure what the priority should be.

-close to the elevator
-high unit (BUT i'm not sure I want the more enclosed patio on the 5th floor?)
-facing the lake or pool
-corner unit, do I want this since one person on the DVC 'roomfinder' said those have a wierd layout

Thanks for the help!

Considering the size of VWL, i would think you would be very lucky to get one of the requests, but seriously doubt you will get all of them.

I would pick the most important and go with that.

Anyone remember the studio number that doesn't have a balcony? I remember hearing about that years ago. We don't usually book studios, so I never worried about it, but June 2010 we've got four booked for family. Want to make sure I know which one to avoid.

TIA
