Decorations and friends, what could be better. Time to plan..11/27 Final plans& recap

I have never been to Universal but it looks awesome! I'll look forward to your report!!

it is a fun place to go. Only need a day or 2.

I have never been to Universal, we will someday when Andrew is a little bigger and can do more, I would love to see the minions.

He would have fun in the Seuss land area.
I hope I see them.

Scott, Day 3 plans look great. We've not been to Universal since 2004...so nine years. A lot of new stuff. We just can't see spending the money as I can't do most of the coasters anymore. You really should see the I Love Lucy exhibit...it's very good.

Caught up again. I will be at Universal the same day you are. We're planning Harry Potter and some of the decorations in the morning and the other side in the afternoon. I'm not doing many coasters this trip, the ankle just isn't up to it. I do feel bad that Jim is passing them up. Dinner may be Margaritaville. A friend highly recommends it.

I am using my Chase rewards and getting Universal tickets. I liked Shrek, but not the long wait in the standing room area.

We don;t do the coasters either really. I want to try but I get vertigo so I have to be careful. I do want to see that exhibit.

Sorry I have been MIA here and on reading others tr's. We have decided to sell the place we are in so we are busy de-cluttering and getting the place ready to be shown. I really do hope we sell but we have a set price in mind and hopefully it will be matched.

Congrats on your wedding and first wedding anniversary.

I am excited to hear about LM rooms. We took a trip over to AOA last trip to check it out. While hubby and son played in arcade, I walked around and checked it all out. So awesome!! Loved the cars section.

Botanical Garden is gorgeous. Looks so peaceful and serene there

We were upgraded to SSR in 2009 after we had a few issues at POP. We were only there for 2 nights, but it was amazing. But we made the mistake of listening to a CM who told us it was not a long walk from DTD to SSR. NEVER AGAIN.

I can't wait to take Trent to Universal in couple years. He is not into thrill rides too much, so want to give him a couple of years to see if that improves

Your day at US looks jam packed! I get vertigo on certain rides so I have to be careful. That Simpson ride almost did me in!

Good luck decluttering and selling your home. Are you moving to Disney? I keep thinking of selling my house as the kids are all moved out but there is 25 years of stuff to go through But I would like something smaller and cheaper to maintain so I would have more money for Disney.

If you are in Congress Park the walk is not too bad. We love The Grandstand being it is so quiet usually and then we walk to the boat for DTD.

I've finally had a chance to get all caught up and there's simply too much to comment on. So....I'll just say Yay for getting the BOG ADR and good luck on moving into a bigger space. Painting is not my favorite thing either and I've been doing a lot of it lately.
