Finally we get our stateroom number ( 7119 , Cat 11). Please, anyone can tell me something about deck 7, this room is near the Elevators.... i guess maybe it is a noise room !! anybody ever been in that cabin?????

thanks so much !!

I think this is a great location. Deck 7 aft is where we usually book. The elevators should not be a problem. I've been just down the hall from this room, in 7106, right off the elevator lobby. We had no noise problems in this room, and the experience has made me actually prefer to be near the elevators. It makes it easier to get around the ship. We're usually in this general area of the ship, in the category 7 rooms on deck 7. We've been in 7120 a few times and liked the room and the location very much.

I think you've gotten a great room. Enjoy!

A couple of years ago we were in a Cat. 11 on Deck 7 for a Western 7 night cruise. It was a good location (only 2 decks up to the pool and 2 decks down to the kids club). BUT I have since fell in love with the rooms on Deck 5 (the sideways Cat. 11 have a really nice layout--you walk into the living area and the bath is off to one end and the bed is off to the other end, so it feels more roomy) AND the kids' clubs are just down the hall (and I let my 11 year olds just check out and come back to the room whenever they wanted), and the movie theater is also just down the hall.

SO up until I discovered Deck 5, my favorite floor was Deck 7. It would now be my second favorite floor (maybe once my kids move to the teen group we will want to be back up on Deck 7 again).

Deck 7, Cat. 11 room 7127 for the 4th time in June 2006. We have never had any problem here. We enjoy the aft deck.

For the 3 of us, the cabin is plenty big. We were rarely in it except to sleep. I have a tendency to get very, very motion sick and this past June on the Magic, I slept the better than I had in a long time. I suppose the combination of dramamine, a few drinks and my prescription sleep meds helped a bit!!! LOL

Sorry, this was taking a very long time to post, so I clicked it again. Now it won't let me delete this. OOPS!!!

We have stayed in a Deck 7 Aft, Cat 11 Stateroom and thought our location was wonderful. It was very quiet and convenient.

I stayed in stateroom 7119 just 3 weeks ago and thought it was a great location. I had no problem with noise. The secluded deck was close by as well as the laundry room. I also enjoyed being only 2 decks down from deck 9. I would use the back stairway to go straight to Topsiders for the breakfast buffet. I think you'll be very happy with this room.

Deck 7 AFT is awsome. Much better than deck 5,!!!!! (That's my deck.) You don't want to be there. It's awful, smells bad, really noisy and full of rats. Really really big rats. And spiders too. In fact, stay far far away from deck 5 aft. Not good. Not good at all.

LOL! You're right. Deck 5 is REALLY bad. Everyone stay away from that, you won't want to be there! (but if we are sailing on the same cruise, feel free to come down to deck 5 and say hi to our family).

We stayed in 7504 on our 12/03 cruise. We have booked 7119 for the DD's and 7118 (cat 5) across the hall for DH and myself. Since we will be cruising with a group of DIS'ers, we thought it would be great for someone to be close to the aft deck.

I'm glad to hear that these rooms are close to Topsiders, pool, etc., as I didn't really take that into consideration when booking.

Can't wait!
