Does anyone have any feedback about the cat 8 rooms on Deck 6 or Deck 5? I don't think our budget allows going up to the next level but I think this would be better than an inside room. Any comments would be appreciated!
Thanks!:)

Category 8's and Category 9's are identical in layout. The only difference is that Category 8's are on Decks 5, 6, and 7 whereas Category 9's are on Decks 1 and 2.

These are nice rooms. Quite spacious by cruiseship standards, and with a really large porthole (at least 3 feet in diameter). The location in convenient to the pool deck and the restaurants. I think you'd enjoy it.

HI,

My sons and I had a cat 8 on deck 6...(6022) We LOVED the stateroom. I felt that it was very spacious, and we thought the location was wonderful. (forward port side) We were close to the forward elevators, which was really convenient. We were almost in a "private" area because the "hall" area was a bit offset from the long main hall of the other staterooms. The porthole was enormous, and we enjoyed the views when we were in the room. I think it is well worth the price.....
