I have a reservation for Teppan Edo for dinner during our trip. I just found out they did away with their scallops entree. This was my favorite. Thinking of switching to Cape May for Crab Legs. What do you all think?

Also, I have an 8:45 am reservation, park opens at 9. I know they do the rope drop and open earlier then 9 sometimes, what are my chances of getting in before the crowd?

You'll be let in early for your CP reservation at MK. Just go all the way over to the left to check in at the gates.

Teppan Edo does still have a scallops dish, called Hotate. Not sure if that's the one you're looking for, but it's still there.

They let people in early, but the line for early morning ADRs gets LONG. We arrived about 7:15am for an 8ish ADR iirc and we were pretty far back in the line. They started letting people in early but they admitted groups of about 25 starting with the beginning of the line. They would let in a group, wait. Let in a group, wait. They don't let everyone in at once so be early. I think our ADR was for 8:30 but we checked in early at CP and they called us about 5 minutes later.

I think you missed the reply above. It is not a change. Scallops are still available.
