I thought I had all this sorted out, but I keep reading various restaurant reviews, and I'm torn between 3 for one dinner - help please!!

We have HB plus vouchers, and we're definitely doing Cape Cod one evening.
For the next evening, I had thought either Beaver Creek Tavern or Hunters Grill at the SL. However, I also quite like the look of La Grange at Billy Bobs in the Village.

I'm really after a buffet meal, as we have kids with us, and this suits them better than a set menu.

The reviews are pretty equal for each of these restaurants. We'd be aiming to sit down for our meal around 8pm (a bit earlier if its La Grange), so would want to reserve a table in advance. I know I can do this at both the SL restaurants, can I book La Grange also?

Anyone been to any of these restaurants recently - what did you think of the meals?

We've eaten at both SL restaurants and really enjoyed both.. there was lots to choose from, I would def eat there again. I have heard much about La Grange so it would be interesting to see what other have to say.

Hi :wave2: We ate at Billy Bobs in feb with our HB+ and it was lovely. It was a buffet and was the same one as those without vouchers were eating from. It had a huge range of choices and suited us perfectly as a family with mixed tastes (DD7- can be picky, DS3 - will eat anything not tied down, me a vegetarian, and DH a meat lover) We will certainly be returning to eat there in Feb 09. :thumbsup2

I'd love to hear more about La Grange,

I wanted to go, but after the "tex mex"?! buffet at lucky nugget I was put off.

LN fajitas were the least fajitary fajitas I've ever seen! tex Mex is my favourite food so would love to try it!

:rotfl: I know EXACTLY what you mean about Lucky Nugget.

Lucky Nugget is supposed to be tex mex??
I had pasta there!

Thanks for the replies so far everyone - Nulah was Billy Bobs loud and noisy when you were there for dinner? I don't mind some music while we're eating, but if its too noisy to hear yourselves speak I might have to reconsider.

Elaine I haven't been to any of those restaurants but I'd be interested to know about them, especially La Grange which seems to have such a wide range of opinions about it.

I went to La Grange in 2006 and the food was lovely, and there was loads of choice. It was defo "tex mex" in there too!!

It wasnt noisy when we went at all, and the main dining room is tucked above and behind the live music so if you have a table in there it wouldnt bother you.

I actually thought it was a bit too quiet ..... but I think thats because we went a bit too early and it wasnt very busy. Would defo recommend the food there though.

There was a live band playing and it appeared quite noisy when we first went in but soon blended into the background and certainly didn't disrupt our meal or conversation. :thumbsup2

Brilliant, thanks again.

Hopefully I'll get La Grange and Cape Cod booked this week :yay:
