Decision to make (again). CBR but thinking of upgrading to YC or BC Villas.

I have an upgrade option from CBR 5th sleeper to either go to Beach Club Villas with 5 people in a Deluxe Studio (one king/1 sofa bed/1 pulldown for the little) for $700 more (4 nights) or the Yacht Club Waterview (Two beds and a sofa bed) for $1000 more. Which would you choose? I have two kids and there will three adults. Space is okay in either since we won't be in the rooms much. Parks are HS, Epcot, and MK only. Thank you.

We love BC Villas, but it's really a matter of what works for you. With days at HS and EPCOT, you can use Skyliner from CBR. Or you can just walk/boat from BC and YC. The walk from BC Villas to EPCOT is especially easy. Something to keep in mind, though - the BCV studios will have 1 queen bed (not king) and a sofa bed and pulldown. You must be in a 1BR or 2BR villa for a king. But it sounds like that might not matter for you. So we'd either stay with the CBR ressie, or move to BCV. I don't know that YC is worth that much extra. You also get the awesome SAB pool if you stay BC or YC. If your kids love to swim, it's a great place to spend an afternoon!

Not sure I helped much! Good luck.

My family was also thinking the same but we just went with swan reserve it was 50$ more than cbr and closer to the parks.

Thank you. It will be mid-November so too cold to enjoy the pools but it would be nice to be within walking distance to HS and Epcot. The skyliner is nice for CBR but most people are telling me it is an hour or more wait going either way. That does not sound fun. Thanks again.

We’ve gone in mid-November and definitely swam. The weather can vary a lot at that time, but we had days in the 70s and 80s. The pools are also heated.

We went in Nov and it was hot. Shorts weather. Pack the bathing suits!
I would pick YC. At BC Studios after all the pullouts are down there isn’t much room. Pretty cramped. I wouldn’t think it would be very enjoyable.
At YC all adults will have real beds. And you won’t be tripping over pullouts trying to get ready in the morning. Plus I like YC!

Good to know. Thanks. We are from southeast Texas and we won't swim if it is cooler than 80 degrees. lol We are use to the heat and humidity here so we wear scarves and think jackets and hats when it gets cooler than 70. lol

A CBR room with the 5th sleeper would be more comfortable than a studio at BCV. The studio has one queen bed, a sofa sleeper and a pull down bed. The bathroom has a single sink. The CBR room will have two queen beds and a double sink. If money is not in question then go for the YC. :) It is the best option.

Thanks everyone. I will discuss it this afternoon with my boss, who is my wife, and get her opinion and signature on the deal. She wants to stay at CBR and think the skyliner won't be a nightmare. ha!

I'd probably choose the Yacht Club option. Largest room for 3 adults, 2 children. Balcony. Beautiful view. Very easy walk to Epcot. Longer walk to DHS, or take the boat or Skyliner. Not sure if balcony matters to you, but I'd think it would be nice with 5 people in the room.
CBR - 314 sq ft with no balcony.
BCV Studio - 356 sq ft plus balcony (I think).
Yacht Club Water View - 381 sq ft plus balcony. Water View would be very nice.

That's a lot of people to cram into a BCV studio along with your luggage. The studio has very little storage space. Also, if you have the sofabed pulled out and the bed under the TV pulled down, there will be very little room to walk around.
