Ok, i am totally new to this world of SLR, but have been playing with the Automatic mode on the camera. Is there a site that gives Tutorials or help for the beginner... I am taking a course offered by the Camera store i purchased but it is not available til mid August.. Plus the teacher suggest you learn "all the terminology"
before the class....
so, where is the best place to for beginners to start.. I also looking for suggestions on books for beginners, that could show me lens info. I got a 18-135 lens as my standard, but would like to see actual photos taken with different lens, because lens to me are a different language. Basically i told the guy what type of pics i want to take, everyday stuff, Disney, parades etc. and he suggested this lens as a base and to add as i get money
,
However, we i hear of lens #'s it means nothing to me, so as you can see, i need all the help i could get.
One final Question, for those who are in SLR cameras, how long did it take to get familar with (almost) everything SLR has to offer.. Weeks, Months, (OR- like i expect to be. lol) Years....
Sorry to drag this on.
