December waitlist...

Anyone else not able to book for December yet? I know BWV is popular and December is a big month for DVCers, but I was surprised when I called to book a studio (any view) for December 7-12 and was only able to get the night of the 10th.

So I am waitlisted for the other 4 nights. I am waitlisted day by day. What do you think my chances are? I will be sad if I can't get in to my home resort when trying to book 9 months ahead. Pixie dust please!!!

You are looking at one of the most popular times for DVC members. Good luck with the waitlist. Hope you get the BWV. If not, try OKW or SSR at 7 months. They are both very nice resorts.

Thanks...I know that I can get a ressie at SSR or OKW. I've stayed at both and really don't care for them. However, any room at Disney is better than my bed at home.

I too prefer staying at a Theme Park resort like BWV, BCV, or WLV but had to settle for OKW last year when booking the Food & Wine Festival at the last minute. I actually was pleasantly surprised with OKW. The room was huge, cast members were excellent, and the resort was well kept. I would not hesitate staying at OKW again if the Theme Park Resorts are all booked.

I'm really disappointed to hear that all the studios are booked at BWV for that week. We are waiting to close on our BWV contract and I was hoping to snag a BWV studio for that same week before the 7 month window opens up. It looks like I will be trying for a wait list also.
