December UY borrowing question

We have a December UY and honestly never borrow points. However, we may take a larger group in November 2020 so I may need to borrow a few extra points. Is my thinking correct that we’d be in our 2019 UY in November 2020 and could borrow points from one of our 2020 contracts? Thanks!

That is correct. If the contracts are the same UY and resort, you could borrow and book at 11 months.
Just a reminder, many have posted that guests often cancel, so plan accordingly.
