December Itinearies Please help me give me your opinion

We will be there at the same time I'd advise you to hit a different park on Dec. 3 (Sunday), for MK will more than likely be PACKED due to the remainder of the Christmas Parade filming. We plan to go to Epcot on the 3rd, then MK on the 4th (monday). If I were you, I'd do AK on the Tuesday before you head over to MK for MVMCP. Wishes you will see at MVMCP. Maybe head over to Epcot on your arrival day (after supper) to see Illuminations, or see it on the 9th after your dinner.

Here are our plans:

12/2 - Arrival Day - Downtown Disney in the morning (if time permits). Check into resort - Dinner @ 1900 Park Fare - Illuminations after dinner

12/3 - EPCOT - Dinner @ Garden Grill - MK in the evening to catch Spectro & Wishes

12/4 - MK all day - Dinner @ Ohana

12/5 - Breakfast @ Chef Mickeys - FREE DAY - possibly tour resorts, hang by the pool, or DTD -MGM in evening for Osbourne Lights

12/6 AK during day - 7:15 Sleigh Ride at Wilderness Lodge - Dinner @ Whispering Canyon

12/7 - MGM all day - Lunch @ Sci Fi - Dinner @ Hollywood & Vine - Fantasmic

12/8 - Free Day - Dinner @ Hoop De Doo Review

12/9 - Depart

Tues Dec 5- not sure what park to go to - Crystal Palace for supper and xmas party

Wed Dec 6- hopefully sleep in a bit after a late night - afternoon not sure what park - no adrs for this day

Thurs Dec 7- MGM supper at Sci Fi

Friday Dec 8- Breakie @ Kona- MK - Supper at 1900 Park Fare

Sat Dec 9- Epcot supper at Le Celier

Sun Dec 10 - last day Mk then head home

OK. I don't always have time to respond in detail to park plans, but today I do have the time, so here's what I'd probably do ....

Sunday – Don’t know when your reservation for dinner at Chef Mickey’s is. But perhaps you plan to rest up after the trip to WDW, so as to be ready to go in the AM. (I would recommend that you arrive at each day's park at opening time as you can get a lot done before the crowds arrive.)

Monday – Spend the day at Epcot. I’ve eaten at Marrkesh, and wasn’t impressed with the food, but liked the belly dancer. My favorite is the San Angel Inn, but it depends upon your taste. Of course you will want to stick around for IllumiNations before leaving the park.

Tuesday – This might be a good day to visit the Animal Kingdom. See the attractions you want, and leave at about 2:00 or 3:00, taking a brief break at your resort and going to the Magic Kingdom, have dinner at the Crystal Palace, and enjoy the Christmas Party.

Wednesday – This might be a good day to enjoy your resort, sleep in a while, swim, and have lunch at your resort. I would recommend that you schedule an evenings entertainment at either the Hoop Dee Do Review, or the Poly luau, but get reservations as soon as you can. An alternate plan would be to make a dinner reservation at the House of Blues at Disney Downtown West, and have tickets for the Circus across the walkway following dinner.

Thursday – Spend day at the Studios, using your dinner reservation at the Sci-Fi. Again, this is an eatery I don’t think much of and would much rather eat at the Brown Derby. But, what the hey do I know? Be sure to stay for Fantasmick after dinner.

Friday – Since you have meal reservations at two different locations this day, you might want to simply explore some of the resorts, taking a break from the parks.

Saturday – It takes at least two days to see Epcot properly, and you have the second day already in your plans here. (I haven’t eaten at Le Cellier yet, but have a dinner reservation there during my upcoming visit. That will almost complete the list of restaurants I've enjoyed at Epcot.)

Sunday – Great to finish at the Magic Kingdom. It takes a couple of days to do this park as well.

NOTES: Except for the split day (Tuesday), I would NOT plan on taking a break in my room in the afternoon simply because it tends to eat up too much park time. In addition, you will NOT need a park hopper on any day because you are not visiting two different parks on any day except Tuesday, and your Party tickets get you into the Magic Kingdom any time from 4:00 pm on, with no park hopper required.
