December Hours

We are going Dec 5. Right now UO states hours of 9-5 and IOA 10-6. What are the chances those will get extended? The week before hours are much longer, but it is thanksgiving weekend.

I think it's pretty much a zero chance, they have a private event going on the evening of the 5th and 6th. You need to look up Orlando Informer Meetup on the web, I think there might still be tickets for sale if you want to go to the meetup and be allowed to stay in the park later. I've never been to one, but they sound neat.

Thanks for the reply. I looked up the website. Interesting! Didn’t know that event was happening. We are mainly doing a WDW trip, but wanted to take 1 day for UO/IOA. The Orlando informer website says UO/IAO will close at 8p/7p respectfully, but who knows.

I made a reservation for Finnegan's last week before the park hours were posted and now my reservation is after park closing. Do they contact people for rebooking or at least send you something that says it's been canceled?

Also what does this do for Christmas lights? What time does it get dark in Florida in December?

Well that's no fun for Christmas lights.. Hopefully they change the hours, Monday is open later so I'm hoping the rest of the week matches.

Orlando Informer claims that Universal will be updating their 12/05 and 12/06 hours this week to reflect their contracted hours with Orlando Informer for the meetup (closing at 8 PM on 12/05 and 7 PM on 12/06).

Lol fair enough. We’re doing a VIP tour that day, which should end around 430. Was hoping to have some time after to use the express pass and shop, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see what universal does lol.

Just saw this! So happy about that. We have the VIP tour the 5th which should end about 430p, so I’m glad we’ll have some time after to explore and shop
