December hours

I assume the December hours are finalized by now. Before the 22nd the latest MK is open is 9pm. That seems early, like it should be at least 10pm. Is this usual now? Is this another cutback? Was it like that all this summer? Is that all that can be hoped for before the holiday season officially starts there?

December park hours are likely not finalized yet.
But you do have to consider that there are a number of nights that have MVMCP around that time (like 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21...)so those days the closing time is firm.
Also on the 19th MK is open 9am-9pm with PM EMH from 9pm-11pm so that day hours are likely to not change.
Basically the other few days in there could see park hours extended.
Crowds don't start seriously ramping up until a few days prior to Christmas so that is when you're gonna see majorly long park hours.

Not necessarily.

That would pre-suppose that Disney has a set schedule in advance of when they release final hours.

According to another poster that has been tracking when hours are extended to the rest of that month and the following month it seems to happen on a Friday usually the second or third Friday of the month but of course this is not a definite but rather an observation.

Right - but hasn't there been somewhat of a pattern recently? Not necessarily something that would hold true, but a general timeframe as to when to start looking for the change?
