My DH and I are thinking of exchanging our timeshare points and surprising our DD with a trip to WDW at Christmas time.:thumbsup2

What is the least busiest week in December to go, I know the week between Christmas and New Years is a definate no go....:scared1:

We're thinking of AKV, I'm soooo excited! :woohoo:

Well, we're going from Dec 9 to the 17th. The crowds aren't really that bad. They really start to pick up around the 20th. If you haven't gotten your room reservations by now, you may not get them. The last time I checked a lot of the hotels were booked solid. Good luck.

We're hoping to go Dec 2009 - second week. We know to book our points early. I've never been at the Holidays.

Is there maybe a wait-list for this December?

We are going the week leading up to Christmas day, Dec 17-25. We did the same the last two years, and like Angelrose said, it's not bad until (relatively speaking) until you start approaching the 25th. Actually for us it didn't get really noticably crowded until around the 23rd-24th. We go to the parks earlier in the week, and use the last couple of days for BB or Disney Quest/Downtown Disney, which is not as crowded that time of year anyway. We go to MVMCP, not really for the festivities, but for a night of smaller crowds at MK. If you are looking for any kind of discount (AAA or other) you may not get it now, and you actually may be lucky to get a room at all if you are staying close to Christmas.

I would imagine the earlier you go in December, the less crowded.
