I just used this code too the base rate is down to $207. per week, that is the best I have seen in a while! (This is for a Mini Van)

I did not use a Blue Chip # for this rental, try again with the just the walmart code, Must be a glitch, give it another try or sign up for blue chip it is free to join. Just a thought.

12/23 to 12/31 for a full size from the Dollar counter at the Grosvenor Resort near DTD = $235. No codes. The KISS2 code wouldn't work.

Yes, it is MCO. I booked it through the southwest website, and used code K199060, which at the Avis site gave me a base rate of $221, but I don't think changed the Southwest base rate of $202.

Thanks - so far everything was over $400! And a minivan - forget it, over $600. This came up with midsize for $129 with Avis - but I don't know about a shuttle. Maybe I'll book it for a backup. We're going Dec. 16-23 and staying at Saratoga Springs (just booked with AP discount, so giving it a try). A car is nice with the villa. Would love National, but the rates are high right now.

Avis is $129 as opposed to $400 and you don't wanna ride a 5 minute shuttle bus to Avis? to save $280???? HUH?

One adult can pick up the car while you get your baggage, then drive back and pick up the rest of you at the curb.

i got sister a standard SUV (trailblazer) Dec 9-18 for a total of $238.00
I got me same type of SUV dec 9-29 for a total of $567.00

i am content but hoping for better, it has been my experience that the rates will drop i check twice a day, plus they may get last minute specials, i book both through alamo.
used walmart code, played around with the rate codes and 25 coupon for her and 20 dollar coupon for me.

I thought that the counter for Thrifty was in terminal, but then it was a shuttle to get to the cars. I may do that and also change our Southwest flight to arrive earlier (we'll lose a little time getting the car, plus then I can drop the others off at Sarasota Springs and do some serious grocery shopping alone, so I don't just come back with candy and junk ).

Maybe there is no shuttle - I'll call them to see!

I have rented from Thrifty at MCO a couple of times. They are definitely off-airport and have a shuttle bus.

The Thrifty facility is not far outside airport property, however. The wait for the shuttles is usually only about 10-15 minutes, and the actuall travel time is only about 5-10 minutes.

my Thrifty Van rental has dropped today, down to $277.87 with everything in for 9 days in early December with the Wmrt code.
I am still hoping that Alamo or National will come down but I am going where I can get the best price!

Got a code for Amex card holders - contract ID was 5125601 (got from mousesavers). I have an Amex card - don't plan on using it for the rental but will have it with me. Also used an Entertainment coupon, and I have Emerald Club so the smallest I'll get in an intermediate car (last time I used emerald aisle I got a minivan). With $20 off, the weekly rate including tax is $183.31. I may just do it for a day instead, with a rate of $23 plus tax. Don't know if I want to bother with a car for the whole week - we never leave WDW! Just excited!

I tried the Amex code and it brought my rental up to over $600! The best code for National so far is 5299328 and it makes my 9 day van rental with entertainment book coupon to 424.31, so far I have

I got National EA for a weeknd for $61 (TOTAL with tax and fees) for Nov 30-Dec 3rd. Sounds good to me! I used their rate code of WE3DY, Amex contract ID 5125601, and Ent book coupon for one free weekend day. Came up $45.98 plus tax, total $61.71
