December Birthday Trip to Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani

Hi, I'm a newbie to these boards. I've found great information here previously, so I wanted to share our trip plans (and report later)!

We are excited to be taking our first DVC trip in early December. We will be staying in Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani, in a Savannah view 2 bedroom.

It's my DD birthday while we are there, so we have planned a few special things for her. We will be having Disney Florist decorate her room with the Mickey and Friends package. We have dinner on her actual birthday planned at 1900 Park Fare. I have NOT been able to get through to GF cakes after several calls though! I'm worried about that ... will try to call again today.

Then the day after her birthday, her cousins are coming up to stay with us for a night. So they are doing Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, followed by dinner at Cinderella's castle, where we did a custom Ariel cake with table decorations and tiara presentation! (this is essentially her birthday party)

We will be there a total of 8 nights. So our planned dining includes:

We are super excited for this trip! We are hoping it is the trip of a lifetime. And we are thrilled that my husband's parents, sister, and children are staying with us for a couple days, and then my parents are also staying with us for a couple days. So it will truly be a family affair. Can't wait for the trip so I can post a report!

Only planning hiccups we have had so far were with the Magic Bands. We have a point reservation and a cash reservation. Somehow my DD got linked to a different account than my husband, so we were being told by the system that she wasn't eligible for FP+ the last two days of our trip. After about 45 minutes on the phone with Disney IT, it got cleared up, and has worked fine since then. However, I still have concerns that we'll have more issues because of this upon arrival. I might make some phone calls to get everything further cleaned up in advance.

And my husband just let me know the weather is supposed to be beautiful! First couple days of our trip are low 70s ... perfect! As long as we aren't wanting to swim ...
