December at DVC andything Special???

Does any of the DVC resorts do anything special during the Christmas season or have any special events or activities????

Not really. Other than decorations. But no real special events at the resorts.

On Christmas morning we did get a Christmas stocking with some candy one year.

Characters and Santa visit everyday up to Christmas day. There are Carolers. There are special activities at each community hall that you can participate in i.e. ornament crafts etc.

At the VWL and BWV there are sometimes community groups that come and entertain. Ask at the check in desk at the other resorts, those are the ones that we like in December. We've enjoying hearing quite a few bell choirs in December. I think there was an ostrich egg ornament that you could decorate at AKV, Jambo when I was there.

Also DVC itself has in the past had Merry Mixers one day a week. Last year it was a mob scene at a Contemporary ballroom. It's really something to see how DVC has grown! They used to have the MM just outside the international gateway to Epcot.
